KickStart for Kids founder, Ian Steel, has been awarded an OAM for his work with disadvantaged kids. “Everyone wants to know how I feel, well I’m so proud for my family as they have sacrificed plenty along the way, from working in Camp Kickstart, driving delivery vans, making sandwiches, working at events, doing the books, kids living with us,My wife treats all of them like they are her own kids, love you George. The list goes on. My friends all get asked to do things they probable would like to say no to. Thankyou. I know my Mum is sooo proud. However without our army of volunteers that go out and work with all the kickstart kids and treat them like they are their own, I would not be receiving an award. So I want to say a massive THANKYOU to you all. Remember everyone, if you think something is wrong, go and change it. The word no does not exist. Thanks everyone for your support.
