No Breakfast Breakfast

The annual KickStart for Kids ‘No Breakfast, Breakfast’ is returning on Friday 8 December at the Hilton Adelaide.

Emceed by KickStart for Kids Ambassador, Rebecca Morse, the No Breakfast, Breakfast gives guests the opportunity to support thousands of hungry South Australian kids by voluntarily skipping breakfast for the morning.

The idea is centred around understanding what it’s like to go without such an important meal, a reality that so many young kids experience every day.

Guests will hear from KickStart for Kids founder, Ian Steel, as well as a number of other inspiring speakers, including those who have been directly affected by the amazing work of KickStart for Kids.

Attendees may choose to grab breakfast after the event concludes, or continue their day on an empty stomach to experience the effect this has on their mental and physical strength.

The KickStart for Kids Breakfast Program currently serves around 60,000 breakfasts a week in over 360 schools across the state, including the North, West, South and several regional areas.

Each year, the No Breakfast, Breakfast plays a key role in helping to fund the Breakfast Program, making it a signature fundraising event.

Individuals, colleagues, schools and everyone one in between are all encouraged to attend, especially those who spend their day in the CBD as is.
