With one in four students missing school over a lack of access to feminine hygiene products, our new partnership with local social enterprise TABOO and OTR, is a welcome addition to the life-changing services we are able to offer South Australian school kids.
Founded by Isobel Marshall and Eloise Hall in 2017, TABOO donates 100 per cent of net profits from sales of its organic cotton pads and tampons to sanitary health and education projects in developing countries.
Previously only available online and at one IGA, through this new partnership with OTR, TABOO products will now be stocked in 122 OTR sites across regional and metropolitan SA, as well as 22 National Pharmacies across SA, NSW and VIC.
100 vulnerable South Australian schoolgirls will now be able to feel more comfortable attending school every day, thanks to free access to TABOO’s feminine hygiene products.
We’re excited about this partnership, and offer heartfelt thanks to TABOO and OTR for partnering with KickStart for Kids, to help end the cycle of period poverty for our KickStart kids.
