Media Personality, Journalist for the Advertiser, ‘In the Genes’ Podcast Co-Host

Rebecca Morse has been a loyal ambassador for Kickstart for Kids since 2017. A well-known South Australian media personality and proud mum of three daughters, Rebecca is passionate about supporting children and young people across South Australia.

As a familiar face and trusted voice across television and radio for more than two decades, Bec brings her warmth, professionalism and passion to help spread our mission. Bec regularly MC’s events for KickStart for Kids and uses her platform to raise awareness for our work and how others can get involved and have a positive impact on children’s lives.

In addition to her role as a KickStart for Kids ambassador, Rebecca is also an advocate for our Period Poverty program, an initiative that we started back in 2021 to raise awareness of the issue in South Australia and provide sanitary products to schools where young girls need them most.

‘It’s difficult to comprehend the level of poverty facing kids right here in South Australia. Kickstart for Kids provides these kids with breakfast, school holiday activities, new clothes and period products giving them nutrition, self worth and dignity. The life-changing impact of that can’t be underestimated.”

Bec continues to combine her professional career with her community commitments. Most recently, launching the podcast, ‘In the Genes’ co-hosted with her daughter Grace.
