Former Australian Rules Football Player and 8 time all Australian
Mark Riccuto, one of Adelaide Football Club’s greatest players, is a proud ambassador for KickStart for Kids. An eight-time All Australian and winner of the 2003 Brownlow Medal, Mark has long been admired for his leadership both on and off the field.
After meeting KidStart for Kids founder Ian Steel, Mark was shocked to learn how many South Australian Kids go to school without breakfast each day. As a father of six, the cause resonated with him, and he has since become a passionate advocate for ensuring children have access to food.
Mark has actively raised funds and awareness for KickStart for Kids, including a major effort that brought in $110,000 in just one hour. He continues to use his platform to support our mission and promote the importance of helping children in need.
Away from his ambassador role, Mark is a successful businessman, a strong advocate for the Riverland community where he was born, and a co-host of the highest rating breakfast show on Tripe M Adelaide.
