KickStart for Kids Thanks Guardian Financial Services Group for Major Donation

KickStart for Kids would like to extend an official thank you to Guardian Financial Services Group for their $5000 donation to KickStart for Kids Against Period Poverty.

Managing Director of Guardian Financial Services Group, Evan Jackson quoted the following:

“I recently attended the April SOL Results breakfast, where Ian Steele, Founder of Kickstart for Kids, was the guest speaker. Ian talked about his organisation and the program he launched in 2021, KickStart for Kids Against Period Poverty. Period poverty refers to the number of young girls who were missing school due to not having access to feminine hygiene products or not knowing how to get access to these products, and so KickStart for Kids Against Period Poverty was born in pursuit of raising awareness, support, and funds for the thousands of young South Australian girls experiencing this.

This subject was something that I had never thought too much about, and I was shocked to believe that this was happening in Adelaide. Immediately drawn to Ian’s words and inspiring work, I happily donated on behalf of Guardian to assist with the program and will continue supporting them from here on. I encourage the entire community to read about Ian’s organisation and their fantastic work and to get on board to help improve the lives of young South Australians.”

Donations of this kind have a significant impact on KickStart for Kids and our ability to continue helping young, disadvantaged South Australian children in various capacities. Thank you Evan Jackson and wider Guardian Financial Services Group team for choosing to support us and helping make a difference for young lives in our state.
