New winter clothing donations needed!
With the abrupt drop in the temperature as we transition into the winter season, KickStart for Kids are calling on South Australians to donate some much-needed clothing for kids aged 5 to 12 years old.
At our July Camp KickStart school holiday care program for vulnerable and disadvantaged children, KickStart provides the children with a pop up clothing store so they can get their winter clothes.
Camp KickStart is for those kids who don’t look forward to the holidays like their peers do as they are experiencing hardship at home. The kids are provided with transport to and from home and excursions, with food, books, clothes and fun things to do, and they are partnered with mentors for extra support and self-esteem building.
We know the winter months can be harsh with sickness spreading, but it is particularly difficult for the disadvantaged children who struggle to keep warm.
Please spread kindness and donate!
