South Australian’s unite to create exclusive ‘Breakfast Juice’ to help raise funds for this years No Breakfast, Breakfast.

A Community Made Grenache Supporting South Australian Kids

We are excited to introduce our community crafted Breakfast Juice, a limited release Grenache created entirely through the generosity of South Australians. Every bottle helping us feed children who would otherwise start their school day hungry.

In a powerful display of community spirit, every element of the juice has been one hundred percent donated. From the fruit and winemaking to the design, label printing and bottling, the project brought together generous South Australian businesses all united by one goal: to ensure mire children start their day nourished and ready to learn. Earlier this year, more than fifty volunteers and thirty children came together to pick the grapes generously provided by McLaren Vale viticulturist Jock Harvey. The fruit was then handcrafted by McLaren Vintners’ winemaker, Andrea Maxwell, into a premium 2025 Blewitt Springs Grenache that offers lifted red-fruit aromas and a soft, velvety palate of raspberry and maraschino cherry, finished with dusty spice and fine, silky tannins. The wine was then bottled, labelled and packaged through further donated services from local partners.

Vinpac generously donated all bottling and packaging services for the project. As one of Australia’s leading contract wine packaging companies, the Vinpac team ensured the wine was produced and finished to the highest standard, helping deliver a final product that reflects the care and community spirit behind Breakfast Juice.

Our Founder, Ian Steel OAM, says the project reflects the power of South Australians coming together for kids doing it tough.

“Every bottle sold helps ensure children do not go to school hungry. Breakfast Juice is a true community effort that will make a real difference.”

With 3,000 bottles available, the wine is sold in six packs for $100. Each pack helps nourish thirty six young students for a day, making every purchase a direct contribution to improving the lives of South Australian children.

The wine made its debut at the KickStart for Kids annual No Breakfast, Breakfast, contributing $14,000 in sales to the charity’s fundraising efforts. KickStart for Kids Founder, Ian Steel OAM, described the project as a true showcase of the community’s generosity and its commitment to supporting children who are doing it tough.

Breakfast Juice remains available for purchase, with all proceeds supporting KickStart for Kids breakfast and lunch programs that deliver around sixty thousand breakfasts each week across more than three hundred and sixty schools in South Australia.

The wine is still available in six packs for $100. To order, please email via: ian@kickstartforkids.com.au
